Today sweeties – TANG YUAN (Sweet dumpling) FOLLOW ME HERE: https://www.facebook.com/martinli530 http://instagram.com/martinli530 https://twitter.com/martinli530 Webio: Martin DIY Studio Tang Yuan (28 pieces) INGREDIENTS: • Glutinous Rice powder 300g • Sugar 70g • Peanut 100g • Butter/Lard 70g • Carrot 200g • Purple sweet potato 200g • Green Tea powder 30g METHOD: Tang Yuan filling: 1. Rubbing the peanut with mixer, mix with butter and sugar, use your hand to shape them into small ball, put them in freezer for 2 hours Tang Yuan Skin: 2. Mix Glutinous Rice powder with water, separate into three equal portions 3. Pare the carrot and sweet potato and cut into small pieces. Boil them about 10 minutes until they are soft. Crush them into mash separately. 4. Mix step 2 with step 3, if they are too dry, add a little bit of water. 5. Sharp step 4 into small ball shape. Use your hand to flatten it.
