Taliban roadside bomb hits Afghan bus, at least 34 killed

At least 34 killed and 17 wounded in a roadside bomb blast in western Afghanistan. A mine placed on a national highway exploded, hitting a passenger bus. The explosion occurred around 6 am when the bus was packed with passengers. The bus was travelling between the western city of Herat & the southern city of Kandahar. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
