Take a look behind the scenes of our Overwatch Live Action Cinematic Fan Film "Lion's Return". If you haven't seen the movie yet, then check it out here: https://youtu.be/TJk5XzJDdB8 Our vision was to produce a high-quality fan film about Overwatch with a strong story full of detail that sets it apart from a simple fan film setup. Lion’s Return is a fan-fanatic production intended primarily to reach the die-hard Overwatch fans. With many allusions, hidden puzzles and his strong reference to the Overwatch animations short films, the comics, fan-fictions and the game it is intended for true Overwatch fans. Above all, we have tried not to design a too generalised story and to demand from the fans a certain basic understanding of the characters. While access for outsiders is more difficult, we want to reach fans and create added value for the Overwatch community in a fan movie. As a German film studio, we decided to pick up on the history of the German game character Reinhardt and to map the appropriate Map Eichenwalde with the fantastic possibilities of the film landscape in Germany. The FanFilm was shot entirely in Germany and was realized with an international team of actors, voice actors, VFX artists and crew members from Germany, England, USA, France, Poland, Australia, Canada, Belgium and Switzerland. It took us almost two years of independent and hard work to realize this film. The production costs for things like costumes, locations and equipment were completely privately financed by director and producer Thomas Bernecker. The high-quality costumes alone devoured large sums. It was important to us that we do not use simple cosplays for the film, but movie costumes that look not only high-quality, but above all, are functional and survive the hardships of a film shoot. After seven days of shooting and a good three quarters of postproduction, our first fan film is now ready and is thus the first film of further planned productions in the field of Game, Comic and Fantasy of Think Big Studios. During production, we evolved so much that we would do many things differently today, leaving us all the more excited about constructive feedback from the community. Only by realising such productions we can evolve to produce better films that allow us to immerse ourselves in a different world, through a strong story and fabulous worlds. Think Big Studios has planned further productions and is looking forward to any support from the community. For a comprehensive look behind the scenes and information about our next productions, follow us on the Social Media. No matter which way and to what extent you support us, every help is welcome and enables us to become even better. In the sense follow your dreams and do not forget to think big. // Directed by Thomas Bernecker WEBSITE - https://www.thomas-bernecker.de INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/tbdirector/ YOUTUBE - https://www.youtube.com/ThomasBernecker // Produced by Think Big Studios WEBSITE - https://www.thinkbigstudios.film INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/thinkbigstudios.film/ TWITTER - https://twitter.com/tbstudios_film ETSY - https://www.etsy.com/shop/GermanCosEngineering FACEBOOK - https://www.facebook.com/thinkbigstudios.film/ YOUTUBE - https://www.youtube.com/thinkbigstudios // Creative Design by ShiSha Rainbow WEBSITE - http://www.shisha-rainbow.com INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/shisharainbow/ YOUTUBE - https://www.youtube.com/shisharainbow // Filmed completely in Germany National park city Heimbach (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) Braunfels castle (Hesse, Germany) Eberbach Monastery (Hesse, Germany) Hunting Castle Stift Ennenbach (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) Atelier ShiSha Rainbow (Berlin, Germany) Disclaimer: This film was independently produced and is strictly for exhibition.
