The T34 85 was an improved version of the orignal it had a new turret with an 85mm gun as opossed to the 76mm of the original. Its apperance forced the germans to build a new tank with many of its features to counter it resulting in the Panther, both of which tie for the best tank of WWII. Over 84,000 were produced with some still in service in the 90's.
