Syrian army 'steps up crackdown' in Homs

The latest pictures received by Al Jazeera from opposition activists appear to show the devastation caused by the military offensive in the Bab Amr neighbourhood of Homs. There are images of people who have been shot, and fighting for their lives. The wounded include young children.  The Syrian government has restricted foreign media access.
