Susie E

This is the story of Susie E., a young woman from Omaha, Nebraska. After spending two years in Guatemala doing social work, Susie moves to New York to pursue her dream of being an actress. Once in New York She gets a job as a lighting designer at an experimental theater, however she feels lonely and sad; she misses her girlfriend, Jimena G, a Guatemalan painter. An unexpected phone call from Jimena causes Susie to temporarily forget her unhappiness until, on her way home, she finds herself in Times Square, surrouned and overwhelmed by the chaos of media and loneliness of the city.
