Sometimes folding a shirt neatly can become a chore. Today we will see an easy method of folding a shirt. To fold a shirt easily we make a small jig from cardboard. The left hand piece is 30-cm wide and 75-cm long. The right hand piece is similar to the left one. The middle piece has two squares of 30-cm and a small rectangle of 15-cm into 30-cm. The cardboard jig consists of 5 separate pieces joined together with tape. Keep the ironed shirt upside-down on the cardboard jig as shown. Then fold the left hand card inwards as shown. Open the folded sleeve. Then fold the right hand card inwards. Fold the left-right cards inwards once again to fold the sleeve. Then fold the small middle rectangle and then the square upwards to complete the folding of the shirt. This is a quick way to fold the shirt.
Now try folding a T-shirt in a similar way. Place the T-shirt upside-down on the cardboard jig. Then fold the left-right cards inwards. Follow by folding the middle small rectangle and the big square to complete the folding of the T-shirt.
Another way to fold the T-shirt. See the video closely as the actions are a little fast to describe. Pinch two mid-points and then follow the action to fold the T-shirt very quickly.
These improvised methods will enable you to fold shirts very fast.
