Sunset Bay Club Torviscas Costa Adeje Tenerife

Canarian Holiday Resort - close to Playa De Las Americas. (720 HD) I've been a member of this resort since 1989 and have rarely missed a visit in all that time. I'm pleased to say, that it has always been carefully looked after and well maintained - despite being taken over by a number of companies over the years. (Now owned by Diamond Resorts International) The management team, receptionists and all the hard working cleaners and maintenance crew, are a real credit to the place. The resort, (it is frequently said) has the feel of a friendly village, with beautifully tendered trees, shrubs, cacti and borders. There are two lifts on site, to aid with accessing the steeper levels at the resort. Each apartment (to my knowledge) is kitted out with flat screen TV's, showing satellite channels - incl the main British channels. The main lower pool, (there are two - one heated) was upgraded in 2011, along with the sunbathing area, which has increased in size. New sunloungers were also introduced at this time. The Sunset Bay Club, is very close in proximity to the main semi-pedestrian strip, which is home to many fine restaurants and bars. The nearby, marina and seafront are a 5-10 minute walk. (Depending on how fast you walk?) Many of the 'new' 4-5 star hotels, close to the resort, hold nightly floorshows, cabaret and/or dancing and are only minutes away. Playa De Las Americas, with its bars and nightclubs, is also, only a short taxi drive away - as is, the amazing Siam Park (Water Park) - one of the finest around. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, in friendly surroundings - with all that you could ask for on your doorstep - then the Sunset Bay Club, is definitely for you. Have a great time. - Ade
