Summer Topwater Bass Fishing

I finally caught bass on topwater! It has been a struggle to catch bass on topwater lures so far this summer but I finally found some active bass! In this episode of Fishing with Flair I hop in the ol jon boat with my buddy Ethan a few hours before sunset to find some aggressive largemouth bass. Of course right when we arrived to the lake the clouds went away and the sun came out making the topwater bite nearly impossible. We changed tactics to jig and chatterbait fishing near docks and rocks and managed to pick up a few bass. Once the sun started to set I picked up the buzzbait and never put it down. I was beyond stoked to accomplish my goal of catching bass on topwater! Overall I had a great time fishing out of an old aluminum boat, catching bass like I did when I was a kid!
