Summer Plane Spotting at Edinburgh Airport, EDI | 19-07-18

After well over 2 years I have returned to Edinburgh airport, lots of people have been asking for me to come back, so doing the Hainan 787 flight meant that it would be possible. Due to the delay of my Hainan flight I wasn't able to spot for as long as I had planned. But still I got here and got some pretty decent stuff in the time I was there. It was pretty warm, temperatures above 25 degrees, and heat haze everywhere. Runway 24 was in use for the entire visit, I would of preferred 06 to be in use, but oh well. The landings here were quite distant, and quite hazy too when the sun was out, departures however were perfect, with an awesome view of rotations as you will notice.
