Strong winds, suspected tornado hit Japan

A possible tornado struck Maibara City in Shiga Prefecture, western Japan, on Friday. Footage shows collapsed buildings, scattered debris, and heavy rain. Four people were reportedly injured. Weather authorities issued a tornado advisory for the prefecture. Strong winds also hit Toda, Saitama Prefecture around noon, destroying over 50 meters of scaffolding at a construction site.
