WE RARELY FISH DEEPER THAN 30 FEET! BIG STRIPED BASS lurk the shallow flats near deep water. Look for bottom contours and humps that break the current setting up ambush points for the BIG GIRLS that are strapping up and chowing down getting ready for the spawn. Even if you don’t mark fish, the spots can be hot if you can mark Bait close buy. Note fish caught on what the tides were doing while you were hooking up. Use this info to find more hot spots.
