Stream DLNA video to PS4 (Playstation 4) | How to

**UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS BELOW*** - This is a quick video I made on how to stream video from your computer to the PS4. Hope you enjoy it. Sorry about the audio and the banding from the tv. Also how I say the word "tutorial" really weird lol. Just didn't feel like re-recording. Directions: 1. Download Plex Media Server app at: https://plex.tv/downloads 2. Make sure you have Plex Media Server app running on your computer, otherwise you will not see your content on your PS4. 3. Set up all your Media (on your computer that holds all your content, NOT your PS4). 4. Sign in to your plex server through settings (on your computer). 5. Go to https://plex.tv/ in your PS4 browser and sign in 6. Click on "servers" on the menu at the top of the page. 6. Click on your server and then launch it. 7. Enjoy! ***UPDATE*** Plex Media Server has been updated so that now the process should be a lot simpler with a much better interface. It's now slightly different from the tutorial video I posted. The directions are updated though. ***PS4 1.7 FIRMWARE UPDATE*** If plexx was working for you before and isn't anymore after the 1.7 ps4 firmware update, see if this fixes it: -Go to Settings -Go to 'Player' -Click 'Show Advanced' -Enable the 'Prefer AAC Audio' option ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you are new to Plexx, or need help with how to actually use it, you can find helpful tips on their wiki page here: https://plexapp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us Also, if anyone's curious to know what router I'm using.
