Steve Goodman is Director of Morning Lane Associates and the co-founder of Reclaiming Social Work model - a whole-system reform that aims to deliver systemic practice in children’s services. Steve discusses what leadership is and what it isn’t, as well as how leadership should be dispersed across organisations. He talks about why social workers need to have the authority to act when required. He set out the things that leaders should be doing –and some of the things they should stop doing.
