Steve McCurry: India | Exhibition Preview

Known for his aesthetically beautiful and memorable photographs that transcend language, cultural, and geographic barriers, Steve McCurry has permanently shaped the fields of photography and photojournalism. Since McCurry’s first trip to India in 1978, its diverse regions and people have served as his inspiration for over three decades. This fall at the Rubin Museum of Art, McCurry’s photographs from across India will be brought together for the first time in a comprehensive exhibition. "Steve McCurry: India" features portraits, landscapes, and documentary imagery that express McCurry’s curiosity and commitment to capturing unguarded moments.
