I decided to show how to do an engine swap for anyone who wants to save a little money and do it themselves. All you really need for this adventure is a standard socket set, standard wrenches (mostly metric) and when it comes time for the actual engine pull, you'll need to have a lift. I got mine at O'Reilly Autoparts. They let me rent it for free. All you need to do is give them a deposit which they return when you bring back the lift. This whole project took me about 30 hours. This should apply to all Jeep Grand Cherokees from 92 to 98 The whole operation is pretty simple if you have a little mechanical know how. I'm willing to answer any questions.
