Step by step Jeep Grand Cherokee engine swap guide Part 1

Having a flexible ratcheting wrench set like this helped out a TON in tight spaces: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002NYD3U/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0002NYD3U&linkCode=as2&tag=three04-20 Let me know if that link stops working. I decided to show how to do an engine swap for anyone who wants to save a little money and do it themselves. All you really need for this adventure is a standard socket set, standard wrenches (mostly metric) and when it comes time for the actual engine pull, you'll need to have a lift. I got mine at O'Reilly Autoparts. They let me rent it for free. All you need to do is give them a deposit which they return when you bring back the lift. This whole project took me about 30 hours. See Part 2 if you want to know how to put the new engine back in. This should apply to all Jeep Grand Cherokees from 92 to 98 The whole operation is pretty simple if you have a little mechanical know how. I'm willing to answer any questions. Just let me know. ------------------------------ If I helped you out today, you can return the favor by following me! ------------------------------ Instagram: http://instagram.com/zacksjerryrig Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JerryRigEverything Twitter: https://twitter.com/ZacksJerryRig Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/ZacksJerryRig/ GooglePlus: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+JerryRigEverything/posts ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JerryRigEverything assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video.
