Staraja Ladoga (Старая Ладога)

Staraja Ladoga (Старая Ладога) is a village near St. Petersburg (Russian Federation). The village dates back to the 800's and the first ihabitants of the village are supossed to be Finns and other Scandinavians. The village has old fortress and archeological investigations are made in the area.
