Southern Colorado Trout Fishing

The Arkansas River is one of Colorado's more well known trout fisheries. Meanwhile, when we arrived to film this episode of Pautzke Outdoors they were doing work on the dam thus pumping dirty water from Pueblo Dam into the river. Fortunately, armed with Fire Balls and Yellow Jacket salmon eggs we overcame the off-color water and caught and released dozens of trout in a half day fishing. *Not all stretches of the Arkansas River are open to bait.
