Kalamandalam Dhanarajan and team performed 'Mizhavu Thayambaka' at Thiruvananthapuram's Museum Hall. ‘Mizhavu’ is a copper drum covered at mouth and placed in wooden encasing. ‘Thayambakam’ means to perform instrument as a solo rather than as an accompaniment to Koodiyattam or other forms of theatre.
