Gil Ron Shama is the co-founder of the Israeli world-known ensemble- 'Sheva', that won the Best Live Album of the Year Award for the 2006 IMA competition, as well as other appraised music ensembles. Gil was appointed as a cultural ambassador of goodwill on behalf of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Muslim countries, and was given an honor membership in several Sufi's fraternities.
