Film - Songs From The Second Floor Directed by Roy Andersson Year - 2000 This is an excerpt from the Swedish movie - Songs From The Second Floor, a surrealistic drama directed by Roy Andersson. This is closing scene of the movie where the main character Kalle (came in a car) meets with Uffe (who is unloading his truck), a businessman who has failed to sell crosses. After Uffe left the place, Kalle sees his dead friend Sven with few others approaching him. Kalle, when met at a railway station, showed his regrets to Sven for not able to pay his debts before he died. The movie is full with surrealistic images, in this expert the running of the dead men from the graveyard and after a while their approaching to Kalle is compelling - a great cinematic experience. Wikipedia mentions- the film uses many quotations from the work of the Peruvian poet César Vallejo as a recurring motif. The film won Jury prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
