With over 3 million hectares burnt or burning in NSW, I headed out for another camping trip, knowing full well that record breaking bushfires and extreme heat would await me once I arrived.
It was hot, it was dry, it was still, it was gross. Smoke was in the air, smoke was everywhere, but i still managed to have an enjoyable solo camp out.
Special thanks and mention to all the NSW firefighters and volunteer firefighters putting in more work to protect our bushland than anyone is truely aware of - absolute heroes. Respect, concern and best wishes to those whose homes have been destroyed or lives have been lost during this ongoing and tragic fire event.
Stay safe everyone.
