Solaris Solar Heaters now sold at Sadko in Cairo

Sadko, located next to the Ramses Hilton Hotel on the Corniche in Cairo, Egypt, is probably the most famous appliance store. I used to go there when I was doing my Ph.D. research on the micro-economics of hot water demand to price out electric and gas water heaters and washing machines. This year, for the first time, they are proudly featuring Solaris vacuum tube solar hot water heaters. We visited with them for several hours on October 6th 2010 to discuss how Solar CITIES can help get these wonderful devices into the marginalized areas of this city of 20 million.
