Media Advisory Feb. 18, 2013 USCIS Hosts First National Vietnamese-Language Engagement February 21 'Giao tiếp' session to highlight the naturalization process WASHINGTON -- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will host its first national Vietnamese-language engagement (Giao tiếp) session on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. PST. This national session, exclusively in Vietnamese, is part of our ongoing series of multilingual public engagements and will be broadcast on the Internet live from USCIS' Santa Ana, Calif. field office. The "Giao tiếp" engagements will focus on specific immigration-related topics; the first session will highlight the Office of Citizenship's initiative: The Naturalization Process -- Becoming a U.S. Citizen. The Vietnamese-language engagement follows on USCIS' ongoing engagements with the Spanish and Chinese communities. These informative sessions help customers understand how best to navigate through the immigration experience, and includes live question-and-answer sessions with USCIS officials. USCIS will take questions in advance of the engagement via Twitter #USCISgiaotiep, or during the event via email at
