SNV Uganda empowering women, empowering communities

An inspiring story of a women group that was formed to address the needs of women and families affected by the 1993 insurgency in the Teso region. The group, known as the "Popular Knowledge Women's Initiative -- P'KWI has transformed itself from a farming group to a farmer cooperative society that is advocating for improved gender equality and empowerment of women and men through agriculture.
