X20 GEN2 model winches from Smittybilt come with line capacities of 10,000 pounds, 12,000 pounds, 15,500 pounds and 17,500 pounds. This is a winch that is ready for whatever recovery situation comes your way. The Smittybilt X20 GEN2 winch has an upgraded 6.6 horse power motor. The 6.6 horse power motor is connected to a 3 stage planetary gear system. The gear ratios have been recalibrated to give you more pulling power and better line speed. The matte black coating on the outside of the Smittybilt X20 GEN2 winch has a built in UV protectant. The Smittybilt GEN2 X20 winch is completely waterproof and impervious to sand, mud, and whatever other elements your rig may face. The hardware is stainless steel and the winch comes with oversized aluminum cross bars, a 4 way roller fairlead and a forged black hook. But that is not all. The Smittybilt X20 GEN2 winch comes with a wireless remote control. The solenoid box can be mounted in two different places on the winch.
