This snake eats termite eggs and lives underground and in the leaf litter where it can't see much anyway. Doesn't need eyes, but has small ones. Thais believe these small snakes can kill you quickly - it's a superstition. They are not poisonous and the mouth is too small to really bite you. The cool thing is - these snakes are all female - and don't need males. They lay eggs when they reach the right age - and can start whole families, colonies without males.
