Slum Schools Spring Up in Nairobi

Free primary school education is now universal in Kenya. However, there are few public schools in Nairobi's teeming slums, leaving thousands of children squeezed out of the formal education system. Non-formal schools have sprung up to fill the gap, but these are largely underfunded and understaffed. Cathy Majtenyi reports for VOA from Nairobi.
