This video is a really important one which plays out in a upcoming video. Hopefully you can see how my son (age 2 years 8 months) plays with Thomas & Friends and Chuggington trains as a mixed railway. He does not see them as two totally different brands. But why does he still struggle with Chuggington's character names remembering it's said a child's mind is like a sponge for information. His struggle with Chuggington's names has had me curious for a long time now. What is it about the Thomas characters which make them so easy to remember? Watching children's behaviour with toys is something the toy giants do all the time as it's a key indicator to the effect and playability of a toy. Children tend to be very selective in what they play with. I get loads of ideas for my youtube videos by watching how both my children play with their toys. I am always eager use their ideas in my reviews. My series of mash up toy videos have direct links to watching my children play with toys.
