You have to manually click HD to see the better quality video. Shot with Panasonic Lumix ZS3 (Firmware v1.1 to use generic batteries), 16gig Class 10 SD Card, (2) 1300mAh batteries. This camera ROCKS! Don't go to another concert without it. The Canon SX1 does 1080P but the quality is only a little better while the sound quality is really bad. I'd rather have slightly less video quality but much better sound quality. I had lots of problems with an ADATA SD card. It worked fine for the first show in Houston but then it started to not keep up with the writing. My camera kept stopping and saying that the SD card was not keeping up with the data. Its a class 10 and supposed to be the fastest. Class 10 is also recommended in the manual. It eventually died after Rose Bowl.
