Shorinji Kempo India helps the Blind with Reflexology

Shorinji Kempo India provides the vital Reflexology Training to the Blind, since February 2013; NIVH, Poonamalle provides the infrastructure for training the Visually Handicapped. Naturals Parlor & Spas Pvt Ltd, provides employment to the blind Reflex Therapist. The following had been achieved for the visually handicapped. 1. The Executive Council, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, India, approved the syllabus and curriculum, there by creating the first vocational training course in Reflexology for blind in India. Shorinji Kempo India designed and developed this syllabus and curriculum specially for training the blind. 2. India's first Reflexology Text book for the blind, was printed in braille by NIVH, Regional Centre, Poonamalle. 3. 20 blind reflex therapists are now employed at Naturals Parlors & Spas. in Chennai City. The possibility of expansion within a social framework of activities is helping us to re-think the ideals of what Shorinji Kempo can do to the society.
