Shiawassee County Jail - Inside View.

Corunna Mi. - Sheriff Brian BeGole re launches Inside View a program started in the 1980s to give kids and teens a view of what jail life is. Sheriff Begole states that Inside View is different than Scared Straight in that Scared Straight is a program that waits until a kid gets in trouble and then people are in the kids face shouting and it forces many kids to just shut down. While Inside View is for kids before any get into trouble. BeGole says that Inside View reaches the kids when they are relaxed and can comprehend what is being said. Video: Tom Manke 11 30 2017
