Shave 04: Vintage Gillette Slim Adjustable

The fourth razor I purchased was what is called a "birth" razor. This Gillette Slim Adjustable was made in 1965, my birth year. I have to say, it is not my favourite razor, however it does get used fairly often. An adjustable razor is a good choice for a beginner as it allows you to adjust the aggression from 1, least agressive, to 9, most aggressive. You can dial in the aggressiveness to suit you. I was disappointed with the soap, however it is probably down to user error and not the fault of the soap. The scent, however was excellent.
