Honing is an important final step in blade resharpening, and is a microscopic polishing of the bevel edge of an already sharpened knife in order to remove any remaining imperfections. The honing not only improves the performance of cutting edge but it also increases the knife durability. Ideal for honing paper knives, guillotine blades, veneer knives and peeler knives.
