Shark Snorkling! Location: Maya Key, Roatan, Honduras

The ultimate of experiences, I got seriously up close and personal with sharks....and I still have all my limbs (hahaha)!! Of all the visitors also on Maya Key, apparently only 3 of us were crazy enough to do this! These were 9-10ft nurse sharks and although considered the one of the more docile of their species, it was made clear to us that we were to still use caution (no trying to reach out and pet the sharks, for example!!). We were basically able to observe them to the extent we did because they were being fed at the time....yea. I must admit that there was a brief moment where when I was reminded of this, I pulled my head straight out of the water and said, "Okay I think I am all done, can I get out out now?!" Haha but my fascination took over I suppose, because right there I stayed!! We were also told to keep BOTH hands on the rope. On that note, how in the heck was I to get such great footage with both hands on the rope?!?! Come on now! Maybe I AM still lucky to have both hands....or to be alive......bwahhhahahaha :) As for the grrrreat tunes here, I do NOT own copyrights to any of it.
