Shanghai Chinese New Year 2011

Chinese New Year in Shanghai 2011. Fireworks as seen from 15th floor balcony. An upstairs neighbor in the building spent ~$10,000 on fireworks and lit them off from downstairs ... exploding more or less just a few feet off our balcony. This video was shot at midnight on Chinese New Years Eve with my hand just slightly exposed through an opening in the balcony doors. One spark actually shot between the cracked doors and you can see the camera shake. And I thought they were supposed to be banning fireworks this year in Shanghai???
