Marshal Ophir McKnight sat on the wagon that had once belonged to the unfortunate Vordenburgs and looked down in the valley that contained Lunam, Nevada. The town was just a few miles northwest of Incline Village and ran right up to the California state line. It was big enough to have several streets and was dominated by one huge Georgian style mansion sitting on the hill on the other side of the valley. Below it ran several streets making up a good size city that served the silver miners and loggers alike.
