Squats, Deadlifts, and Bench Press are three power/strength training movements that are great for working on technique and perfecting body movement. These are areas where I have not been the "best" at, and thus want to make improvements.
In this video Coach Charity has me working at 70% of my max for each movement. We are focusing on proper form, breathing, and gauging how my body responds as I begin to fatigue.
In addition, Charity is helping me get used to REST PERIODS! I am a lover of HIIT style training where rest periods are minimal, thus conditioning myself to respect the necessary/important rest periods of power lifting is obvious in this video as I lallygag in between sets trying to rest! Hahaha!
We also used the breaks to discuss proper equipment. I will be looking for another belt that is wider to cover a larger section of my back.
