Serious Sam: The First Encounter HD - Complete playthrough - 1080p60fps - No commentary

Played the heck out of the original on PC, now I got back to being serious in HD and it's awesome. If you have or haven't played this game, get the HD version on PC or Xbox 360. Console version has aim assist that makes it "nearly" as easy to aim as on PC version after you get used to it after a level. Everything was just as epic as I remembered it being, weapons, enemies, music. Originally released for Microsoft Windows only, Serious Sam's rising popularity resulted in the porting of the episodes to the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and Palm OS, as well as in the remaking of both episodes for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in high-definition. The series follows the adventures of protagonist Sam "Serious" Stone and his fight against the forces of the notorious extraterrestrial overlord Mental who seeks to destroy humanity. Serious Sam HD consists of HD remakes of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter using Serious Engine 3. The level layouts have been kept, but nearly all of the graphics, from textures, models, lighting and special effects are all new. However, not everything has been kept in the remakes. The inverted-gravity effect in TFE and TSE has been removed and Harpies can no longer carry Beheaded Kamikazes because of issues regarding the engine. The HD remakes also have improved netcode that fully takes advantage of modern internet connections unlike SS1, which was built around modems. This makes online gameplay smoother and more consistent for those with modern connections. Its gameplay is exactly the same as Serious Sam 1's; the player must get to the end of a level while fighting off hordes of enemies with powerful weapons.
