In this session, two leading experts in intergenerational programming will explain why they believe that forming meaningful connections between older Americans and today’s young people is vital for the well-being of all of us. First, Donna Butts, the CEO of Generations United, will share her perspective on intergenerational programming and Senior Corps’ role in its future. Then, Corita Brown, the Director of Leadership and Learning for Encore.org’s Generation to Generation (Gen2Gen) Campaign, will highlight the Gen2Gen Campaign’s progress thus far as well as some insights they have learned about attracting older American volunteers.
