Athens 1-2-3 November 2013 Workshop by associated partner Illustrations Confuses (France), facilitated by Antonia Vasilakou and Dimitri Rekatchevski Seminar in physical theatre Taking as a start the elements of the contemporary approaches on mime and physical theatre, where corporeal techniques are in a constant dialogue with other forms of fine arts, this seminar aims to the acquisition of organic capacities of the dramatic expression. The purpose is for the actor to become autonomous as a creator and a performer, through physical movement, and personal choices on the style. The study of units dealing with the corporeal expression of thoughts and feelings, personal march, musicality of actor's movement, animalism in the art, use of mask and other material will be necessary. The seminar is addressed to actors with advanced physical and directing knowledge and it will help them to develop their acting skills through improvisations and personal creations.
