The sheltered waters of the Thames Estuary offer a huge range of sea angling opportunities, and all manner of species can be targeted throughout different parts of the year. However in the winter months, two species that really grab the sea anglers attention is the Cod and Thornback Rays and these were exactly what we had in our sights.
