Scientists have found out that mealworms (meal beetle larva) can eat Styrofoam, a plastic believed to be non-biodegradable. The discovery made by researchers in China and the U.S. follows an earlier study revealing that waxworms can eat Polyethylene, the most commonly used plastic.
