Save Our River Protest St. Lucie Locks Govenor Scott Martin County

Govenor Rick Scott visited the St. Lucie Locks and Spillways in Martin County Florida on August 20, 2013. The water being released via spillways at the locks is a major contributor to the polution and dying off of the St. Lucie River and Indian River Lagoon. Many feel that Scott and government in general are not doing enough to help solve the problem which has been going on for deckades. Many more concerrned citizens would have shown up if it had been the weekend but planned or not the event happened on a Tuesday mid afternoon.
