Saudi Arabia played a direct role in coordinating rebel attacks on Damascus, Syria in 2013… and the US knew about it beforehand, according to NSA documents obtained by whistleblower Edward Snowden. Brian Becker from the anti-war coalition ANSWER tells RT America’s Anya Parampil that Riyadh would have directed, armed and funded Islamic State and Al-Qaeda because the kingdom had decided that the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar Assad was a top priority.
