Sandblasting the 1978 F-350 - Thez Nutz Garage Episode #30

In this video we are preparing the frame for POR15! Our first step is to sandblast the frame of the 1978 Ford F-350. We take the frame to a local business where we watched them clean up this frame. Sandblasting is basically a material like crushed glass that is under extreme air pressure. It is forge out of the handle and sprayed on to a metal or other surface. This crushed glass then has the ability to strip any rust or other debris from the metal surface. This is a easy way to clean up the frame of our truck which will save me hundreds of dollars! Remember time is money and I really don't have a month to clean on this frame! The two hours it took to sandblast this frame was worth every penny is spent!
