Samburu Floods Update

7 people have been confirmed dead and livestock and homes swept away following floods that have continued to wreak havoc in upper Eastern, North Eastern and West Kenya regions. Another 5 people are reported missing in Garbatulla after the floods swept away 5 villages. The Kenya Red Cross society is now warning those living in flood prone areas to vacate their homes immediately when they are alerted and move to higher ground to avert further fatalities.
