Sacred Mayan Journey

The annual Sacred Mayan Journey in the Riviera Maya is a celebration of Mayan culture and tradition. Canoeists paddle from Bahia Dos Playas at Xcaret Park to the island of Cozumel as a form of worship towards the goddess Ixchel. This 24-mile roundtrip arduous journey begins and ends with a celebration to which all are invited. Come join the celebration every May.
