Russian satellite sets off into space to study dark matter & take Earth HD pics

The Soyuz rocket launched with Russia's Resurs P2 satellite from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Friday. Resurs P2, a civilian operated spacecraft with a sharp-eyed camera, will collect high resolution imagery for Russian government bodies, international agencies and governments collaborating with Moscow. The satellite will also host a nearly 700-pound particle physics experiment of antimatter, dark matter and cosmic rays as well as a ship-tracking communications payload. The launch comes after another Soyuz rocket took off the Plesetsk Cosmodrome with a military spy satellite in northern Russia, Thursday.
