There are so many things we learned while visiting Russia and we wanted to expand on our top 10 tips of things we wish we knew or that really helped us while travelling through this huge and beautiful country!

#5 - Try the local Food… Russian, Uzbek, Georgian, etc.
#4 - Take advantage of guided tours to learn about the history of sights and hear all about each place you are visiting
#3 - Talk with the locals. Enjoy chatting with locals learning about them and what they do. Everyone is SO very friendly and open to talk, so it is nice to get to know someone and learn more about the country from a local.
#2 - Get a SIM card so you can use your phone easily to use Yandex for transportation or translation or the maps apps to get around or TripAdvisor to find great restaurants, etc.
